On April 26th 2015, 36 women in their 20s through 70s came together in a home in Brookline, MA to pilot this idea. They shared their stories through laughter and tears. They learned they were not the only women in her 30s or 40s to feel a severe shortage of time for herself and were relieved to learn it would not always be like that. They were delighted that the women in their 70s talked about sex. They said “I didn’t realize how much I needed this” and “This needs to be much longer.” They stayed long beyond the formal groups and spontaneously took a group photo. They asked for more opportunities like this and to expand the diversity in the group so they could talk and learn across race and class. It was a soul satisfying afternoon.
